(Atlanta, GA) -- COVID vaccine boosters could be available Friday.
The CDC signed off on new recommendations Thursday night and clinics, doctors, and pharmacies can begin giving booster shots Friday. The CDC has endorsed boosters of the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
The health agency also approved mixing and matching. That means folks can get a booster of a vaccine different from the original shots.
