(Williston, ND) -- The Williston Basin School District is searching for a new superintendent.
The school board voted unanimously Monday evening to accept the resignation, separation agreement, and release of Dr. Jeff Thake. Thake was originally hired in 2018 as the superintendent for Williston Public Schools before taking a one-year contract as the District Seven leader.
He was placed on administrative leave October 25th after events that included a confrontation with a board member over finances during Thake's time with District One.
