(Williston, ND) -- KTGO Radio has learned that Williston Basin School District #7 superintendent Dr. Jeff Thake has been placed on administrative leave, according to a press release from the school district. The release states that Assistant Superintendent Lori Olson will be leading the district. The announcement comes following a special school board meeting Friday in which the board met in executive session to have "attorney consultation for the school board to receive attorney advice and guidance on the legal risks, strengths, and weaknesses of potential negotiations with the superintendent."
KTGO Radio has reached out to Williston Basin School District School Board President Chris Jundt for comment -- as of late Monday night, no comment has been received.
