(Williston, ND) -- Williston Basin School District Seven's Superintendent is out on administrative leave.
Board president Chris Jundt of the newly formed district announced Monday that Dr. Jeff Thake had been placed on administrative leave. Board member John Kasmer says financial discrepancies have come to light dating to the last school year when Thake was Superintendent of District One before the merger.
Jundt says no action was taken at Friday's meeting that would interrupt Thake's contract with the district, which expires June 30th of next year.
