(Washington, DC)  -- Embattled New York Congressman George Santos has been expelled from Congress.

The House voted 311-to-114 to remove Santos, with two members of Congress voting present. 100 More than 100 Republicans voted in favor of removing Santos who is now the sixth lawmaker to ever be pushed out of the chamber, and the third to be expelled since the Civil War.
