Mid March and we've only received 1/2 of our normal seasonal snowfall!!  Not only was this winter a "snow drought" type of winter, but as the map shows, we are in drought conditions across much of the state. Last month it looked like 3 storms were going to track through the valley.  Well, storm #1 is passing to our south but will brush the southern valley with some light snow tonight into Tuesday.  1/2" of snow possible.  Sun returns by late week with 50s back in the forecast!!  Keep in mind our normal highs are in the mid 30s so our streak of above normal temps continue. I still see 2 more storms affecting the area over the last 2 weeks of March.  Some much needed precip looks to be on the horizon....fingers crossed.....we get some much needed moisture.
