Meteorological spring starts today.....spring temps this week.....50s in forecast....winter isn't over though

Spring officially starts today., well meteorological spring does. You'd never know it though with the fresh 1-3" of snow overnight. This week holds promise as our upper level winds blow in from the WNW which means quiet weather and warmer weather.  After today in the teens and 20s, most of this week will see temps in the 40s.  As I peek into next weekend, it looks like temps should make a run at 50 degrees!!  However, the pacific ocean holds about 4 storms ready to hit the U.S. over the next 2 weeks.  What does this mean for us?  Well as the maps show, the possibility of a vigorous storm with rain snow and wind.  Now the track of this storm will change as it approaches our area later next week so be ready for some wild weather and swing in temps.  Let's enjoy this week of quiet weather and above normal temps.  Happy spring!!!
