(Detroit, MI) -- The Twins are on a five-game winning streak following a 9-3 rout of the Tigers at Comerica Park.

The Twins brought across four runs in the top of the first and scored another three runs in the second to put the game away early. Carlos Correa had a home run and four RBI, while Ryan Jeffers also went deep. Pablo Lopez earned his seventh win after striking out eight batter over seven shut-out innings.

Minnesota now has a 5 1/2 game lead over Cleveland for first place in the AL Central at 60-54. Sonny Gray starts for the Twins against Detroit tonight.
