(Nassau) -- The founder and former CEO of FTX is admitting he "screwed up."

Appearing on ABC This Week, Samuel Bankman-Fried seemed to take full responsibility of the collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange last month.

Bankman-Fried also admitted he was "spread thin sometimes" and thought there were "processes in place" that were managing the borrowing and lending on the platform.

His statements come as FTX is working through a bankruptcy process and regulators are looking into the company's lack of oversight that saw the loss of more than 30-billion dollars in a matter of weeks.
