(New York, NY) -- A new report says the probe into collapsed cryptocurrency firm FTX is expanding.
The New York Times says prosecutors have spoken with lawyers for former executives and employees. They've also spoken to those involved with Alameda Research.
That's the hedge fund Sam Bankman-Fried created. A special task force has also been formed to look into the collapse of the crypto firm.
Bankman-Fried is accused of stealing billions from customers since 2019. He entered a not guilty plea in New York federal court last month.
