Kendall Qualls after office targeted by arsonist: "We are over the target"

(Fargo, ND) -- Former Minnesota gubernatorial candidate Kendall Qualls says he won't be deterred from the work he's doing now after an arsonist targeted the office for his non-profit organization.

"If anything I am emboldened. We are strengthened by this. If anything it just tells us we are over the target. We are over the target," said Qualls.

Qualls and his wife Sheila run "Take Charge".

The organization provides mentorship to the African American Community by promoting the values of faith, family and free enterprise.

Qualls says systemic racism doesn't exist in the country.

He says the biggest problem facing the the black community is the 80 percent of fathers who are absent from their families.
