(Bismarck, ND) -- The holiday season is officially underway at the State Capitol.
Governor Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Burgum were joined by local leaders and residents in lighting the state Christmas tree last evening in Bismarck.
The theme for the tree is "Lighting the Way" which is meant to inspire and remind people struggling with addiction that recovery is possible.
