(Bismarck, ND) -- The plea from North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has apparently been heard as legislators have agreed to reconsider his income tax relief proposal.
The governor wants 91-million-dollars in income tax relief which he says would be supported by excess revenue in the general fund from this year.
Under the governor's plan the threshold to be taxed on income for single filers would move from around 45-thousand-dollars to 60-thousand-dollars.
A couple's income would be taxed at 100-thousand-dollars instead of 75-thousand.
