(Fargo, ND) --Governor Doug Burgum has appointed a Bismarck attorney to the bench in the South Central Judicial District.
Jackson Lofgren has practiced law statewide for 16-years.
He's a past president of the North Dakota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has served on the state Parole Board.
Lofgren fills the vacancy created with the appointment of Justice Doug Bahr to the state Supreme Court.
