North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum files to be in First in the West Caucus

(Concord, NH) -- North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is taking a big step in his campaign for the White House.

He filed to be in the First in the West Caucus earlier today, marking an important move toward a Republican nomination for president.

This means he will officially be on the 2024 ballot in Nevada.

His campaign says he is also planning to file for the New Hampshire Republican primary tomorrow morning.

Burgum was in Minot last week where he mentioned that he was confident he could crack the top four in the Iowa Caucus, which will take place in January.

The governor is still trying to raise funding and other criteria needed to make the November 8th debate in South Florida.
