ND Senate Nixes Reimbursement Of Investigated Officials

(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Senate is nixing a bill that would have reimbursed several officials for their attorney fees related to criminal investigations into critical audit findings.

The bill would have applied if the subjects of the probe weren't convicted.

Former Commerce Commissioner Michelle Kommer, former Commerce Senior Manager Holly Hots, and three North Dakota State College of Science leaders would have been reimbursed just over 48-thousand dollars all together.
