Hunter Biden pleads 'not guilty' to tax evasion charges

(Los Angeles, CA)  --  Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty to federal tax charges in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday.  Jessica Levinson with Loyola Law School says the President's son will have a hard time beating some of the charges.

Biden pleaded not guilty to three felony and six misdemeanor counts.  He's accused of failing to pay taxes and other charges and could be sentenced to 17 years in prison if convicted as charged. Prosecutors claim he engaged in a "four-year scheme" to avoid paying at least one-point-four-million dollars in federal taxes.
