(Washington, DC)  --  More details are coming to light about the former FBI informant accused of lying about Hunter Biden.

Alexander Smirnov told the FBI both President Biden and his son received $5 million dollar bribes from Ukraine. However, Smirnov was charged with making false statements last week in relation to those discussions.  Prosecutors say Smirnov admitted to investigators that he got the information from Russian intelligence officials.

His claims have been featured heavily in the House GOP investigation of Hunter Biden and the related impeachment inquiry into the President.
