(Milwaukee, WI) -- Wisconsin Crime Lab staff have shredded the AR-15 used by Kyle Rittenhouse to shoot three people during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It took less than 25 seconds for the shredder to chop the gun into small pieces. Rittenhouse was found not guilty of reckless homicide and other felony charges in the 2020 shooting. Two of the three protesters who were shot died. Rittenhouse had wanted the AR-15 destroyed so it wouldn't become a collectible.
