(Kenosha, WI) -- Wisconsin is bracing for a verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial with 500 National Guard troops standing by.

The governor says he wants to be ready in case of unrest. Jury deliberations are expected to start Monday after closing arguments. Rittenhouse is charged with killing two men and wounding a paramedic last year during protests over a police shooting.

The 18-year-old cried on stand last week saying it was all in self-defense.
