Vikings re-structure Harrison Smith's contract

(Eagan, MN) -- The Minnesota Vikings are freeing up some more salary cap space.

The team re-structured safety Harrison Smith's contract for the 2024 season, bringing his cap number down from over $19 million to $9 million. Smith has spent his entire 12-year career with the Purple. He had 93 tackles and three sacks for Minnesota last season.

In other team news, Minnesota also re-signed defensive tackle Jonathan Bullard yesterday.
