(Los Angeles, LA) -- The Timberwolves had an abysmal fourth quarter during a 120-109 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.

The Wolves led by one entering the fourth, but they were on the wrong side of a 16-2 run to begin the final frame and weren't able to get back into the game. Anthony Edwards and Naz Reid both had 25 points in the losing effort. Minnesota is in third place in the Western Conference with a 44-21 record.

The Wolves visit the Clippers on Tuesday evening.
