(Minneapolis, MN) -- Anthony Edwards is being punished for his actions following the Timberwolves' elimination from the playoffs.

The NBA has fined Edwards $50,000 for swinging a folding chair that struck two bystanders following Game Five against the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena. The ruling came four months after the incident because of a criminal investigation for Edwards' conduct, which was dismissed last month.

NBA executive vice president Joe Dumars said in a release that Edwards was fined for "recklessly swinging a chair in frustration that struck two bystanders." Cameras caught the 22-year-old swinging the chair before heading to the locker room.
