UND duo earns NCHC weekly honors

A pair of UND Men’s Hockey stars have earned NCHC weekly honors.

Jackson Blake was named the NCHC Forward of the Week.He recorded an NCHC high seven points on one goal and six assists in a pair of victories over Minnesota Duluth. He posted a +4 in the plus/minus category. On the season, Blake is tied for the NCHC lead in points with 47 on 18 goals and 29 assists. This was his second NCHC Forward of the Week honor this season.

Jake Livanavage has earned the NCHC Defenseman of the Week honors. He led a North Dakota defensive unit that gave up only two goals all weekend, along with going a perfect 3-for-3 on the penalty kill. Offensively he tallied three assists and racked up a +2 rating in the plus/minus. On the season Livanavage has totaled 22 points on three goals and 19 assists. This is also his second NCHC Defenseman of the Week honor this season.
