UND’s Kuljuhovic named Summit League Peak Performer of the Week

University of North Dakota men’s basketball junior forward, Amar Kuljuhovic, was awarded the first Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honor of his career.

This past week he posted double-doubles in a pair of wins over South Dakota and North Dakota State. Kuljuhovic now has a five game double-double streak. He posted 17 points and a career-high 17 rebounds in a 95-81 win over the Coyotes. To end the week he had 11 points and 13 rebounds in a 60-58 victory over the Bison.

Throughout the week Kuljuhovic shot 52% from the field with 11 of his 30 rebounds being offensive boards. He is the third Fighting Hawk to earn weekly honors this season, joining Treysen Eaglestaff (twice) and B.J. Omot.

North Dakota is on a six game winning streak and are tied atop the Summit League with South Dakota State. Both the Fighting Hawks and Jackrabbits are 6-3 in conference play with UND having a 14-10 overall record. SDSU is 13-11 overall on the season.
