Third quarter outburst leads Wolves past Wizards

(Washington, DC) -- The Timberwolves dominated the third quarter of their 118-107 win over the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena.

The Wolves trailed by two at halftime before outscoring Washington 33-19 in the third to take control of the contest. Anthony Edwards poured in 38 points in the victory, while Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in with 27. The T-Wolves remain in first place in the Western Conference at 31-13.

Minnesota visits Brooklyn on Thursday night.
