(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Wild scored three third-period goals during a 4-0 preseason win over the Dallas Stars at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday.
Jake Middleton scored in the first period, while Jon Merrill, Kirill Kaprizov, and Marco Rossi all lit the lamp in the third. Minnesota went 5-1-0 in exhibition play. The Wild open up the regular season against Florida on Thursday.
In other team news, the Wild signed forward Ryan Hartman to a three-year extension worth about four-million dollars per year over the weekend.
