Carlos Correa headed to injured list

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Star Twins shortstop Carlos Correa headed to the 10-day injured list.

Carlos Correa exited Monday's game against the Cincinnati Reds in the 1st inning with some discomfort in his foot. Correa has been dealing with plantar fasciitis in his left foot since May but has continued to play to push his team to the postseason. He appears to have done just that but it will cost him some time as he was placed on the 10-day injured list.

Trevor Larnach has been recalled from AAA Saint Paul in Correa's absence.
