Edwards switching jersey number to five

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards will have a new jersey number heading into the 2023-24 season.

Edwards announced yesterday that he is switching his number from one to five. He's swapping numbers with Kyle Anderson, who's coming back for his second season with the team this year. Edwards says that he wore the number five in high school and college, but couldn't get it in the NBA until now.
