(Seattle, WA) -- The Twins hope they've found a superstar with their fifth-overall selection in the 2023 MLB Draft.

Minnesota picked outfielder Walker Jenkins in the first round yesterday. The left-handed hitting 18-year-old is a product of South Brunswick High School in North Carolina, and he was a consensus top-five pick heading into the draft.

The Twins added pitcher Charlee Soto with their 34th overall pick and ASU second baseman Luke Keaschall with the 49th pick.

The MLB Draft continues today.
