Twins drop series finale to Orioles

(Baltimore, MD) -- The Twins missed out on a sweep of the Baltimore Orioles after a 2-1 loss at Camden Yards.

Jhoan Duran gave up a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Orioles the lead, and Minnesota wasn't able to get the tying run across in the next half-inning. Duran was charged with his third loss in relief. Willi Castro dove in Minnesota's only run in the top of the fifth.

The Twins remain in first-place in the AL Central at 42-43. Joe Ryan starts for Minnesota against Kansas City tonight.
