Twins rally in extra innings to take down Tigers

(Detroit, MI) -- The Minnesota Twins scored three runs in the top of the tenth inning during a 6-3 win over the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.

Minnesota trailed by one entering the eighth inning, but the Twins tied the game when Royce Lewis scored on a throwing error by Nick Maton. Lewis, Willi Castro, and Christian Vazquez all had an RBI single in the tenth to give Minnesota the victory. Griffin Jax earned his fourth win in relief, and Jhoan Duran picked up his 11th save. Minnesota has won four of five.

Brendan White was charged with his first loss out of the bullpen. The Tigers have dropped three of five.

The Twins are heading to Atlanta for a three game series against the Braves beginning on Monday evening with first pitch schedueld for 6:20 p.m. Sonny Gray will be on the mound for Minnesota.
