Fresh off a 16-0 season and their eighth FCS National Championship in nine years, the NDSU Bison football team is ranked first in the Football Championship Subdivision Preseason Top 25 poll, presented by HERO Sports.
The Bison return a large core group on the offensive side of the team, including Walter Payton award-winning quarterback Trey Lance.
The Bison are currently scheduled to open the season taking on the Oregon Ducks, in Eugene, on September 5, before playing their first home game at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome on September 12 against Drake University.
