(St. Louis, MO) -- Joe Ryan's slump continued during a 7-3 Twins loss to the Cardinals at Busch Stadium.
Ryan allowed four home runs during the contest and was charged with his eighth loss after surrendering seven runs in just four innings. Matt Wallner hit his sixth home run in the losing effort.
Despite the loss, Minnesota still holds a two-game lead in the AL Central at 55-54. Sonny Gray takes the mound for Minnesota against St. Louis tonight.
