(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Twins bullpen blew up down the stretch during a 9-7 loss to the Seattle Mariners at Target Field.

The Twins led 6-2 heading into the eighth inning before Jovani Moran and Emilio Pagan combined to allow four runs, and Oliver Ortega gave up three runs in the ninth to give Seattle the lead for good. Ortega was charged with his first loss in relief. Matt Wallner and Michael A. Taylor both went deep in the losing effort. Minnesota holds a three-game lead in the AL Central with a 54-49 record.
