Wild defeat Blues in an offensive battle 8-5

(St. Louis, MO)  --  The Wild scored five second period goals in an 8-5 rout over the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center.  The Blues held a 3-1 lead heading into the second period before John Klingberg, Oscar Sundqvist, and Mason Shaw all scored for Minnesota in less than two minutes.

Pavel Buchnevich lit the lamp to tie the game once more, but Ryan Hartman put Minnesota up for good about a minute later.  Hartman had two goals in the victory for Minnesota. The Wild are on a 14-game point streak, and they remain in second place in the Central Division with 86 points and a 39-21-and-8 record.

Minnesota hosts Boston on Saturday.
