(St. Paul, MN) -- Matt Dumba is being recognized by the NHL for his leadership abilities.
The Wild blue-liner was announced as the team's nominee for the 2023 King Clancy Memorial Trophy yesterday. The award honors players who show leadership on and off the ice. Dumba has hockey camp that promotes diversity in youth hockey, and he also helped form the Hockey Diversity Alliance to make the game accessible and affordable to everybody.
The finalists for the award will be announced later this month.
