Survey says alcohol use declining among North Dakota HS Students

(Bismarck, ND)  --  A North Dakota Youth Risk Behavior Survey reveals alcohol use on the decline among high school students.

In the 20 years between 2001 and 2021 alcohol use by North Dakota high schoolers dropped more than 35-percent from about 59-percent to just under 24-percent.

The state Department of Health and Human Services urges parents to know the warning signs of suspected underage drinking.

That information is available at HHS.ND.gov/behavioral-health.
