(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota republican congressional candidate Rick Becker says he continues to oppose using U.S. tax dollars to help fund Ukraine's fight with Russia.
"Fighting proxy wars is not the wise thing to do. It gets us further and further involved to the point that we have to allocate so much in the way of resources," said Becker.
The candidate said it's widely recognized that Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, and yet the congress voted to send billions of dollars to the country without appropriate accountability.
Becker made the comments while appearing on The Flag's "What's on Your Mind".
