(Bismarck, ND) -- A Burleigh County judge denied the state's request to delay the trial of a Bismarck man accused of murder.

Corbin Lampert will stand trial on Monday after Bismarck Police say he shot and killed a 16-year-old girl last June. The Burleigh County State's Attorney's Office asked for a postponement because the prosecution has not yet compiled all of the evidence.

The office is still waiting on an ATF firearm analysis, a full discovery packet from the state crime lab, and a medical examiner's report.  However, the judge says the state didn't present any of these problems at last month's final disposition conference.
