Hundreds of ND GOP delegates attend packed prayer breakfast

(Fargo, ND) -- Hundreds of GOP delegates, multiple prospective candidates, and several attendees gathered at the party's annual prayer breakfast this morning. 

The delegates met at the Holiday Inn in Fargo for breakfast, prayer, and to hear the personal faith testimonies of both Carson Wentz, a NFL player recently signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. and Amy Olson, a professional golfer with the LPGA. Both athletes were born in North Dakota.

Former ND Governor Ed Schafer kicked off the event, with Nancy Schafer leading the initial prayer.

Sandi Sanford, the state GOP's party chair, also delivered several remarks talking about her faith and leading the party though Christ. 
 
"People have told me that that I would never get anything done. I though, 'are you kidding? I have Jesus in my heart,'" said Sanford to the crowded room.
