North Dakota to get $50 million for agriculture and research development

(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota is set to receive $50 million in federal grant money for agricultural development and research.

Senator John Hoeven has authored a provision in the bill to establish a new Agricultural Policy Research Center at NDSU.

Half of the funds will be allocated to agriculture research locations throughout the state, aimed at improving crop yield and health in North Dakota.
