(Jamestown, ND) -- Applications are being accepted for a pilot program that compensates farmers and ranchers for adopting climate-smart conservation practices on their land.
They can earn 100-dollars an acre or animal unit from the Alliance to Advance Climate-Smart Agriculture.
Only four states including North Dakota, Minnesota, Arkansas and Virginia are a part of this pilot program.
