Report: North Dakota DFL gubernatorial candidate Travis Hipsher suspends campaign

(Fargo, ND) -- KFYR in Bismarck is reporting that North Dakota DFL gubernatorial candidate Travis Hipsher has suspended his campaign.

WDAY Radio Now had not been able to independently confirm that report with the Hipsher campaign as of late Sunday afternoon.

The republican candidates who remain in the race are Tammy Miller and Kelly Armstrong.

Michael Coachman is running as an independent. 

Democrat Merrill Piepkorn is expected to announce his candidacy this week.
