(Minot AFB, ND) -- Senator John Hoeven says Minot Air Force Base will feel the impact of the defense funding bill recently passed by Congress.
The senator was in Minot yesterday to talk about the military upgrades which include a pay raise of more than five percent.
Hoeven said 100-million-dollars is earmarked for Minot's research and development of military equipment.
There is also 400-million-dollars targeted for improving radar systems and 600-million to upgrade the B-52's and their engines.
