(Washington, DC) -- North Dakota has been awarded over three-million-dollars to reclaim abandoned and dangerous mine lands.
The Department of the Interior's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation says the money is made available through the Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation Program.
The money will be used to eliminate safety hazards and allow for redevelopment.
