(Bismarck, ND) --  North Dakota GOP leaders are continuing to call for the resignation of Williston-area lawmaker Nico Rios.

The calls for his resignation stem from his DUI arrest in early December, which was captured on bodycam video, showing the lawmaker going on which he went on a drunken rant directed at police officers filled with derogatory language. The North Dakota District 23 GOP Executive Committee says it has "lost confidence" in Representative Rios' ability to represent voters' best interests.

Rios said he is "seriously mulling all aspects" of his future, but has yet to announce plans to resign.
