North Dakota street crews preparing for hit of winter weather

(Bismarck, ND)  --  Public works departments across the state are preparing for winter and making sure their plows and road equipment are ready to go.

Forecasters expect some heavy wet snow to fall on western and north-central North Dakota tomorrow and Thursday.

There is the potential to see between six and 12 inches.

The arrival of snow elsewhere in the state will depend on the timing of the colder air which will transition the rain into snow.
