"Find the Good Life" campaign aimed at helping people move to North Dakota

(Fargo, ND) -- The state of North Dakota is re-launching an online campaign aimed at helping people move to the Peace Garden State.

"You know we are in a need to attract workers to the state. There is more than 30,000 open jobs and one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation. We need to get people here to fill the jobs that we have," said Katie Ralston Howe, the state's Commerce Workforce Development Director

Ralston Howe the Commerce Department has re-vamped the website findthegoodlife.com to provide better support for people looking to move to North Dakota. The site aims to provide detailed information on jobs in the state and the quality of life. There is an emphasis on connecting people to opportunities in rural areas. The site also features a relocation help desk which we are told is designed to provide personalized service.

Ralston Howe says there are currently nearly 300 potential movers "in the pipeline", and says Arizona is the state with the highest number of people considering moving to North Dakota.
