Elgin man dies from injuries caused in Motorcycle turnover near Flasher

(Flasher, ND) -- An Elgin man is dead after a motorcycle overturning 7 miles east of Flasher.

The North Dakota Highway patrol says the 65-year-old was traveling on Highway 21 when began navigating a turn and drifted off the pavement. Deputies say the vehicle overturned when the rider attempted to move back onto pavement, ejecting the rider in the process. The Elgin man, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
